Sligo/Drumcliffe LEA community network:
The next meeting of this group is planned for Thursday 18th Feb 2010. Details of a venue will follow.
The first meeting of this group took place on Tuesday 3rd November 2009. Ten people attended and there is interest in building a network in North Sligo. The group has agreed to meet again next February. They are eager to encourage other groups in the area to attend and look at areas of common interest.
Sligo/Strandhill Community Network:
The first meeting of this group will take place on Tuesday 23rd February at 8pm in the Carrowroe Community Hall. (Beside Carrowroe Catholic Church). This meeting is open to members from South Sligo over to the Strandhill area (i.e. the Sligo Strandhill LEA, see map above). Purpose of the meeting will be to co-opt new members from the area onto the forum executive and talk about setting up a community network in the area. Everyone welcome.
Dromore West electoral area (West Sligo Forum):
An open meeting to encourage wider membership of the West Sligo Forum will be taking place on Thursday 3rd November. Details will follow
Tubbercurry Electoral Area community network:
The next meeting of this group will take place on Tuesday 2nd March at 8pm in Teach Laighne, Tubbercurry. Everyone welcome.
A first meeting to assess interest in setting up a community network in the Tobercurry LEA took place on Tuesday 17th November at 7pm in Teach Laighne, Tubbercurry. All community groups in the area are invited to attend.
Ballymote Electoral Area community network:
Reps from this area are being co-opted onto the forum at present. Details of a meeting will follow soon.
