On the 9th June 2009 Sligo Forum hosted an introductory session in Leadership Training for community group members.  The training was a great success with ten participants from a wide array of groups and organisations taking part.  The group learned about aspects of how groups work, the qualities and attributes of good leadership and understanding group roles.  The evaluation sheets sheets revealed very positive feedback from the group:

“Claire was a great facilitator”, “I enjoyed the training and the group experience”, “the training process pointed out lots of areas in my work/life that will be helpful to me”, “What I found most useful was learning about how groups function and the postive aspects they have”, “I learned about becoming a more effective leader”.
